A Guide to Shanghai for Expats available in multiple languages
The Shanghai municipal government's multilingual services portal, International Services Shanghai, has released updated multilingual editions of A Guide to Shanghai for Expats to support foreigners visiting or living in the city.
As of Nov 1, the updated guide is available in English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, German, and French.
Offering practical, convenient, and user-friendly information, the guide is designed to assist foreign friends visiting or living in Shanghai.
It is divided into four main sections: Shanghai Essentials, Living in Shanghai, Exploring Shanghai, and Service Directory.
It covers key topics such as About Shanghai, Useful Apps, and Public Transportation, as well as introducing Shanghai's cultural venues and the business environment.
The guide was jointly produced by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Shanghai Daily.
