Adidas Originals opened its flagship store on Anfu Road in Shanghai's Xuhui district on May 20, becoming the first international sports brand to set up shop in the area.

Notably, this flagship store also represents the first global showcase for the Adidas Originals series in the city.

Spanning two floors and occupying a total of 290 square meters, the store's design draws inspiration from the structure of a cinema, featuring a layout that includes a central area and four distinct zones. The overarching goal is to infuse elements of Shanghai's rich cultural tapestry into the shopping experience for customers.

One of the standout features of the store is its display area for shoes, which showcases a design reminiscent of embossed glass windows commonly found in the century-old villas of downtown Shanghai. Complementing this aesthetic is a terrazzo floor accented with metal bars, evoking a nostalgic ambiance that resonates with visitors.

The first floor of the flagship store is home to the Made For You studio, offering personalized services such as T-shirt printing and custom ornamentation for shoes. Customers will have the opportunity to collaborate with artists to create one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect their individual style and preferences.

During the store's grand opening, Adidas Originals also unveiled its latest line of pet products, marking their global debut at the Shanghai location. Through the concept of parent-child attire, the collection establishes tangible connections between individuals and their beloved pets, fostering a sense of unity and shared fashion expression across species boundaries.
