Passport holders from China and Malaysia will soon enjoy visa-free travel between the two countries, following a new agreement set to take effect on July 17.

Under this agreement, holders of valid public affairs and ordinary passports from China, along with ordinary passport holders from Malaysia, can enter, exit, or transit through the other country without a visa.

Travelers can stay for up to 30 days per visit, with a maximum cumulative stay of 90 days within any 180-day period.

For visits exceeding 30 days or for purposes such as residency, employment, study, or journalism, travelers must apply for the appropriate visa prior to arrival.
