Hoshu Superyacht, a cruise-themed bookstore located on the North Bund waterfront along Shanghai's Suzhou Creek, opened to the public on March 30.

Hoshu Superyacht is a collaboration between the Hongkou district administration of culture and tourism, Shanghai North Bund (Group) Co Ltd, and Dayin Bookmall.

The bookstore features 218 works by 115 Nobel laureates in literature, spanning from 1901 to 2025. In addition, it houses 62 Kafka Prize titles, 39 Hugo Award-winning titles, 35 Cervantes Prize titles and more, bringing together outstanding literary works from different regions and styles.

"Readers' aesthetic expectations are rising, and ordinary bookstores can hardly meet the diverse needs of deep and focused reading," said He Xuan, general manager of Dayin Bookmall.

In the local literature section, the bookstore presents a range of Chinese literary masterpieces, including 31 Mao Dun Literature Prize titles, 14 Lu Xun Literature Prize-winning titles, and 12 Lao She Literature Prize titles.

By connecting with nearby attractions, Hoshu Superyacht joins the regional ticket economy alliance and partners with performance venues such as Deyunshe's Shanghai Theater to provide rich entertainment experiences.
