Shanghai will host the International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare Shanghai 2026 (AID 2026) from June 4 to 6 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

The exhibition is expected to attract more than 600 companies from over 20 countries and regions, welcoming over 100,000 visitors. It serves as a key platform for industry professionals to exchange insights and showcase products in the rapidly expanding silver economy.

AID 2026 will feature an international zone exceeding 1,500 square meters, with national pavilions from Japan, Australia, and Canada, and exhibitors from New Zealand and Denmark, among others.

Exhibitors will present a wide range of age-friendly products and services, encompassing assistive devices, dietary nutrition, and technological healthcare solutions.

The event highlights the convergence of multiple sectors in the silver economy, such as elderly education, senior tourism, musical instruments for seniors, and age-friendly home renovations.

Consumer brands, including Mlily, a Chinese smart bed brand, and Shanghai Dunhuang Musical Instruments, a Chinese musical instrument brand, will participate alongside global brands such as Danone, IQAir, and Ikea.

Financial institutions, including Bank of Communications and Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank, will also be present to promote elderly-care financial policies.

Major brands in smart elderly care, such as AnKangTong and Infinity Wellness, as well as home furnishing companies such as Tintan and Haier, will showcase their latest offerings.

The exhibition will cover six core areas, including age-friendly products, rehabilitation aids, smart elderly care, elderly care services, senior consumption, and specialized zones for hearing health, elderly finance, smart lighting, home renovation, and dietary nutrition.

Attendees will also find immersive experiences, including a music-themed area for seniors with food, beauty, and wellness elements, complete with a stage for senior performances. Visitors will also be able to try exoskeleton-assisted walking and explore a model future elderly community.

Furthermore, the exhibition will host the 2026 Silver Industry Innovation and Development Conference, focusing on elderly finance, technology for the elderly, and new consumption scenarios.

Collaborations with the Shanghai Association of Senior Service and Silver Industry and other partners will facilitate industry forums and dialogues.
