IOC announces Shanghai leg of 2028 Olympic Q-Series

Shanghai will host the second leg of the 2028 Olympic Qualifier Series for 3x3 basketball, beach volleyball, BMX freestyle, and climbing, the International Olympic Committee announced on July 8.
The competitions in Shanghai are scheduled to run from May 11 to 14, 2028, with athletes vying for Olympic qualification.
Tokyo, Montreal, and Orlando are designated as the other host cities, each hosting four sports.
Tokyo's program will include 3x3 basketball, BMX freestyle, climbing, and skateboarding; Montreal will host flag football, beach volleyball, BMX freestyle, and skateboarding; and Orlando will feature flag football, beach volleyball, climbing, and skateboarding.
