Bilibili World 2026 attracted 400,000 attendees from more than 30 countries and regions at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from July 10 to 12.

"I've been a fan of various animation works since childhood and have always followed events like this. I never expected my first visit to China would be because of Bilibili World 2026," said Riddle II Deron Jay, an animation enthusiast from the United States. "This experience is absolutely amazing for me."

This year, more than 170 exhibitors from around the world took part, a record high for the event.

For the first time since its launch in 2017, Bilibili World sold tickets to overseas audiences, with tickets available in more than 190 countries and regions. The move marked another milestone in the event's development into an international event.

According to a representative from Bilibili, Bilibili World is helping Shanghai become a new destination for animation, comics and gaming fans from around the world.

As one of the 11 flagship events of the 2026 Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season, the second Shanghai International Game Animation Festival is now underway, with activities spanning nearly 70 days.

The event series will conclude with The International 2026, Dota 2's annual world championship, at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center from Aug 20 to 23.
