The International Advanced Air Mobility Expo 2026 kicked off on July 22 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

Centering on cutting-edge new-generation aircraft, the expo brings together more than 400 domestic and overseas exhibitors, showcasing a complete industrial chain ranging from complete aircraft manufacturing and core supporting components to infrastructure safety and industrial services.

Visitors can get up close to a full range of low-altitude aircraft, including electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles, drones, and general aviation aircraft.

The four-day event also features nearly 100 industrial-grade aircraft and a formation of 1,000 drones. The aerial performance will simulate real-world applications, including aerial fire rescue and intercity transportation, and will be paired with Chinese-style tech performances and themed drone light shows.

About 80 industry forums will be held, drawing an estimated 60,000 professional attendees.

Qingpu district, a pilot for large-scale Beidou navigation technology applications and a key hub for Shanghai's low-altitude industry, will host an exhibition featuring nearly 30 leading industry players. The showcase will highlight the district’s strength in the low-altitude economy, spanning research and manufacturing to operations and application scenarios.

On display will be full-size aircraft and aviation helicopters, along with flight control systems, high-precision navigation modules, and integrated communication-navigation terminals.
