Fireworks to illuminate Jinshan City Beach
A dramatic cinematic fireworks show will illuminate Shanghai Jinshan City Beach during the upcoming National Day holiday, offering visitors an immersive, romantic seaside experience filled with festive cheer.
Scheduled for Oct 3 and 4, the show will feature a series of special performances inspired by movie productions. Created in collaboration with a renowned director and leading fireworks production teams, the show will transform the beach and sea into a boundless movie theater and screen. Combining cinematic colors, music, and visual effects, it will present a spectacular fireworks display while telling original stories through light and sound.
Fireworks from Liuyang in Hunan province, renowned for its fireworks craftsmanship, will be staged over the sea at night. At dusk, a daytime fireworks display inspired by the movie Before Sunset will offer a fresh take on the traditional nighttime fireworks experience.
The event will also introduce limited floating lounge seats and paddleboard seating on the water, giving visitors an unobstructed view of the show while relaxing on the water.
In addition to fireworks, the event will feature cultural and food markets, art installations, and a variety of activities, offering visitors relaxing cultural tourism experiences.
