Yangpu district launches global gourmet festival

On May 19, Yangpu district in East China's Shanghai launched the 2024 Global Trendy Food Festival, a culinary extravaganza that celebrates diverse cuisines from around the world.

Yangpu, known for its concentration of tech startups and academic institutions, is a hotspot for young trendsetters, including university students and savvy professionals.

The festival brought together nearly 60 renowned dining brands and fashionable eateries from the district, offering more than 200 special deals and discounts.

It features a rich selection of international cuisines alongside popular local fare like hot pot, barbecue, and trendy cafes and bars.

This event is a part of the 5th Shanghai Shopping Festival and the 2024 Global Gourmet Festival.
