As part of the Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season, Putuo district in Shanghai is hosting over 30 distinctive activities that seamlessly bend commerce, tourism, culture and sports.
The Shanghai Summer campaign, following closely on the heels of the successful Shanghai Shopping Festival, started on July 6 and is scheduled to run until the second weekend of October. The primary objective of the campaign is to stimulate consumption by capitalizing on the peak summer tourism season and leveraging Shanghai's exceptional transportation infrastructure and urban charm.
During the event, Putuo will unveil its CityEat CityGo guide map crafted to inspire residents and visitors alike to explore new shopping destinations. The guide will present a diverse range of options related to food, music, culture, sports and family excursions, catering to the interests of all.
The district will also organize activities at iconic locations along the Suzhou Creek waterfront to enhance the appeal of nighttime shopping.
In addition, unique offerings like night parties, sports events and cultural and creative markets will be featured to meet the collective desires and expectations of summer consumers.
To amplify engagement, promotional activities will be organized by leveraging e-commerce platforms, live-streaming platforms and brand enterprises to strengthen the integration of online and offline retail channels.
Platforms like Ele.me will introduce activities related to Euro 2024, encouraging users to participate in match predictions and win rewards, while Sam's Club in the district will offer digital coupons and live-streaming sessions to provide customers with better services.
