The Paris 2024 Olympic Games have ignited global enthusiasm for sports, and as a result, the international metropolis of Shanghai has become more dynamic, with many summer experiences emerging.

Xintiandi is ramping up its summer excitement with a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the experience of sports, dining and retail ventures. Visitors can enjoy musical performances by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, stroll through a sports-themed market and much more.

Bund Financial Center (BFC)

The BFC, in collaboration with Xiaohongshu, is transforming the area into a joyful "BFC Happy Dog Street" with large-scale art installations by renowned artist and cartoonist Tango, featuring adorable internet-hit dogs.

The Fengjing Road Weekend Market at the BFC will also be an artistic hub with five art market activities.

Visitors can engage in interactive activities such as graffiti art co-creations and illustration flash mobs alongside young artists and illustrators.

Bicester Village Shanghai

Bicester Village Shanghai brings the chill with a series of ice-themed activities. Visitors can cool off with ice towels, cooling spray services and iced beverages. The Gelato flash trolley, featuring a renowned ice cream brand, is a highlight of the Ice Cream Festival.

Moreover, new stores such as Maison Margiela and Jil Sander have opened, and customers who meet certain spending requirements can receive a shopping bus voucher for a more comfortable shopping experience.

Shanghai Disney Resort

From June 21 to Aug 31, the Shanghai Disney Resort is hosting a summer carnival where Disney characters will be sporting new themed outfits.

New additions Partysaurus Rex and Angel will join the fun, which includes cool water parties, vibrant entertainment performances, fresh summer-themed products and refreshing treats.

Every Friday through to Sunday, the Disneytown and Wishing Star Park will feature lively street performances, providing guests with an enjoyable summer experience of music and entertainment.
