The 18th China Time-Honored Brands Expo, a highlight of the Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season, was held on Sept 20-22 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center.

Covering an area of nearly 10,000 square meters, the expo brought together over 300 brands from six countries, including South Africa, Indonesia and Nepal, as well as from nine provinces across China.

More than 150 new and trendy products were featured, covering categories such as food, fashion, jewelry, healthcare and more.

During the event, Shanghai's time-honored brands embraced innovation and collaboration with exciting new launches.

Highlights included custom gold jewelry from Lao Feng Xiang – inspired by the popular Japanese anime franchise Gundam – low-carbon wool products from clothing brand Hengyuanxiang and modern takes on traditional pastries from Changchun Food Store.

For the first time, a CIIE Goods section showcased popular products from past China International Import Expos – including South African herbal creams, Himalayan salt lamps and Indonesian bird's nests – allowing visitors to enjoy a global shopping experience without leaving the city.
