What's happening:

21 million yuan ($2.89 million) in coupons: A total of 21 million yuan in shopping coupons will be distributed in two rounds, featuring both large and small denominations. These coupons can be used at nearly 80 top stores, including New World City, New World Daimaru department store and local favorites such as the time-honored brands Shao Wan Sheng and Tai Kang Foods. Discounts are stackable, allowing you to enjoy unbeatable deals.

Night-long shopping extravaganza: This year features a special New Year's Eve session on Nanjing Road, offering exclusive night-time shopping coupons for a limited time. With extended store hours, this event will encourage more shopping and boost the New Year's celebrations in the area.

Cultural collectibles: Don't miss out on the Snake Year-themed tote bags, co-designed with the Shanghai Museum. Inspired by a cauldron from the ancient Western Zhou Dynasty (c. 11th century-771 BC), these limited-edition bags blend history with creativity.

Boosted convenience: Gaode Maps is providing 100,000 ride coupon packs worth 100 yuan each to ensure your journey home is both safe and easy after a night of fun.

Note: First round of coupon distributions starts in mid to late December. The specific details will be announced soon.
