The historic Tianhou Palace in Shanghai, the city's biggest temple dedicated to Mazu — the goddess of the sea — is hosting the Lamborghini Art Center's global debut exhibition from Dec 24 to Jan 5.

The event merges cutting-edge contemporary art with cultural heritage, offering visitors what the organizers call a one-of-a-kind visual and cultural experience.

The exhibition is showing over 106 limited-edition works by 22 internationally acclaimed artists, including Kaws, Banksy and Nara Yoshitomo.

A standout feature is a 2.4-meter-tall humanoid robot created by renowned Japanese illustrator and artist Hajime Sorayama, one of only three such sculptures worldwide.

Displayed on a stage on the second floor, the robot explores the relationship between human emotions and the sleek, mechanical aesthetics of robotics.

The exhibition is divided into four zones — the Lamborghini Heritage Collection, a gallery of collaborations with leading contemporary artists, a showcase of emerging talent and large-scale art installations.

Visitors can also shop for exclusive collectibles, including designer toys and limited-edition items, at a pop-up market.
