Bailian debuts shopping season, services for overseas visitors
Local retail giant the Bailian Group kicked off its spring shopping season on March 5 at the Shanghai No 1 Dispensary flagship store on East Nanjing Road in Shanghai.
The event offers a wide range of shopping experiences designed to appeal to all age groups, helping consumers refresh their spring wardrobes and lifestyles.
What's more, it features a curated selection of high-quality products across a variety of retail sectors.
With the introduction of China's 240-hour visa-free transit policy, the Bailian Group is also stepping up its services in order to cater to the growing number of international visitors.
The company has unveiled an upgraded version of its Touch-Care service brand, which includes a range of new amenities such as international card payments support, convenient luggage storage and multilingual signage in English, Japanese and Korean.
The enhancements are available at nearly 40 Bailian shopping centers across Shanghai, transforming the city's retail spaces into consumer-friendly malls for overseas buyers.

In addition, Bailian has introduced a very special souvenir section in popular shopping areas, featuring a curated selection of Chinese heritage brands, cultural items and locally made products. The initiative allows international tourists to explore the best of Chinese craftsmanship and culture in one convenient location.

Visitors to Shanghai can also take advantage of the BAILIAN Gift Card, which offers international members exclusive shopping vouchers redeemable at Bailian stores, supermarkets, convenience outlets and pharmacies. The card is now available at airports — providing a seamless shopping experience as soon as visitors arrive.
In a special promotion tied to the upcoming 2025 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix — running from March 21 to 23 — Bailian will allow tourists to exchange their event tickets for a BAILIAN Gift Card. This is designed to further boost their retail experience and encourage them to turn their event trip into an unforgettable shopping experience.
