Disney's 'House of Mouse' Tour kicks off in Shanghai

Disney's "House of Mouse" Tour opened on June 14 at Zhangyuan, a historic and cultural landmark in Shanghai's Jing'an district.
A feature of the event is a brand-new series designed by creative artist Darren Romanelli, also known as DRX.
Inspired by the idea of "Mickey's Living Room," the collection blends classic Disney characters with contemporary street art — creating an immersive and interactive experience for visitors.

The event also includes themed pop-up shops and activity zones, offering a wide array of collaborative merchandise from brands like Casetify, Fion, Old Order and Sunday Home — offering stylish tech accessories, designer toys and mystery boxes.
Adding to the excitement, a pop-up event took place on North Maoming Road from June 14 to 15. Highlights included a 6-meter-tall Mickey statue, a special-edition Mercedes-Benz Smart art car and several Instagram-worthy photo spots featuring Mickey and his friends like Goofy and Daisy — all drawing the excited attention of locals and tourists.

The tour marks the launch of Disney China's new campaign "Let's Keep It Real" which is being co-hosted with Swire Properties. Starting in Shanghai, the campaign will travel to Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu, bringing fresh, joyful Disney experiences to fans across the country.
