Dianping Must-Eat List Food Market Opens at Weekend Market in BFC
A lively food market bringing together popular restaurants from Dianping's Must-Eat List is lighting up the Bund Finance Center over two weekends in late December.
Taking place on Dec 20–21 and Dec 27–28, the market gathers 26 popular eateries in one buzzing venue, turning the waterfront into a destination for serious food lovers.
From bold Asian flavors and Chinese classics to grilled meats, buffet-style spreads, and lighter bites with drinks, the range is as diverse as it is tempting.
One standout is Siam Memory, led by Thai chef Noom Chantrawan, recognized by CNN as one of Bangkok's top chefs. His stall serves Thai dishes inspired by Michelin-level cuisine, such as tom yum soup made with a siphon pot and fragrant curry crab best enjoyed with rice.
Also drawing crowds is Latina, a Brazilian barbecue brand that entered China in 1998 and has since become synonymous with authentic churrasco. Visitors can expect more than 30 varieties of expertly grilled meats, served hot and fresh off the fire.
Adding a historical twist is Huji Jiu Si, founded in 2019. Inspired by Chang'an, the Tang Dynasty capital from 618 to 907, the brand combines Xinjiang ingredients with cooking techniques familiar across China, echoing the spirit of cultural exchange that once flourished along the Silk Road.
