Hongqiao Railway Station rolls out English navigation service
Great news for international travelers! Shanghai has upgraded its transport services with the launch of an English navigation service at Hongqiao Railway Station.
Now in its trial phase, the service is available through the city's "Mobility as a Service" platform, or "SH MaaS". It enables users to locate pick-up points and access real-time information for the metro, buses, ride-hailing, taxis, parking, and intercity coaches, as well as find essential amenities within the station.
This upgrade, launched to coincide with the opening of the 8th China International Import Expo, aims to provide a smoother travel experience for global attendees.
International users can access the service via the following methods:
1. Scan the QR codes (Alipay and WeChat) below to enter the Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station "Indoor Navigation" page in SH MaaS.

2. Search and download "SH MaaS" in the app store, or search for the "Suishenxing" mini-program via WeChat or Alipay.
Then, tap on "Hub Connect", switch to "Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station", and activate the "Indoor Navigation" service.
The page offers the following services:
Navigation: Select "Metro", "bus", or "taxi", and the app will recommend the best route and guide you directly to your destination.
Car locator: After parking in P9 or P10, mark your spot in the "Indoor Navigation" page. When you return, the system will generate a walking route to your vehicle.
Share location: Share a link with your companions to see each other's real-time location on the map, a feature that works across different floors and supports up to five people. You can also manually choose a meeting point, send the location, and follow the navigation to meet up.
Search for amenities: Type in what you're looking for — restrooms, elevators, restaurants, etc. — and the service will guide you there.
