Fengshengli, with 10 ground buildings, preserves one historical building and replicates nine old-style ones. The project meets the planning requirements of the West Nanjing Road historical style area and creates a unique urban space with Shanghai features and culture. The former site of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) in the centre square of Fengshengli was dismantled, numbered and stored in the warehouse after the plot was demolished and relocated.
