Shanghai has once again found itself at the forefront of blending art and nightlife with the launch of the "Night Dimension: The Night Out" art project, an essential component of the ongoing Shanghai Night Festival.

The art project, initiated on May 31, will run until June 16, offering a unique "nighttime art party" experience, completely free for all to enjoy. It is the result of a three-year strategic collaboration between the Shanghai Commerce Administrative Affairs Center and the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art.

This year's edition has invited many artists to participate, creating seven groups of artworks that capture the allure of the city's diverse nocturnal landscapes – from bustling main streets and tranquil tea shops tucked under sycamore trees to historic parks and cutting-edge entertainment complexes. The iconic venues, including Fuxing Park, INS park, Metro City, and the Sinan Mansions, will serve as the backdrop for these artistic expressions.

Beyond the outdoor art creation event, the project is set to host four art events at various workshops, promising a dynamic and immersive experience for all participants.
