During this year's China International Import Expo, held from Nov 5 to 10, global brands dazzled visitors with an array of flavors, designs, and innovations. But when the 6-day event ended, shoppers were left wondering where they could continue to explore unique products from around the world.

The answer lies at the Global Harbor Mall, home to the year-round Expo Club, a marketplace inspired by the CIIE. The store has just refreshed its offerings, bringing in hundreds of items directly from national pavilions at the expo, now available for everyday purchase.

Located on the mall's fifth floor, the 2,000-square-meter Expo Club has been curating CIIE-featured products since it opened last year, providing visitors with a permanent destination to experience the global flavors and designs showcased at the expo.

Step inside, visitors will find neatly arranged displays of wines, snacks, daily necessities, and artisanal goods from 33 countries and regions, including South Africa, Iran, Poland, Sri Lanka, Russia, France, Germany, and Australia.

Following the conclusion of the 8th CIIE, the marketplace quickly introduced lacquer jewelry boxes, wooden trays, and copper plates created by Uzbek artists; classic leather bags designed in Italy; and a Georgian collection that blends fine cowhide with walnut wood.

"During this year's expo alone, the store added 423 new products," said a representative of the marketplace. "Including items we've introduced since opening, we now offer more than 2,300 products, turning what used to be a six-day shopping experience into something available 365 days a year."

To enhance the shopping experience, Expo Club has also incorporated immersive digital technologies such as VR, MR, and AI, allowing visitors to explore natural wonders, cultural landmarks, and folk traditions from around the world. One highlight is Deep Sea 2175, an XR adventure set in a futuristic underwater world. Players are transported to the ocean depths of the year 2175, where they become marine rescue specialists, explore mysterious deep-sea environments, and help save endangered marine life.
