Hongqiao Qianwan Incity Mega set to open on Dec 23
Hongqiao Qianwan Incity Mega, a new shopping center in Minhang district, is set to open on Dec 23. Positioned as an international social and leisure destination, the mall will introduce more than 350 brands across dining, fashion, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, family-friendly, and pet-friendly categories.
The complex will feature well-known chains such as Shake Shack, Peet's Coffee, Hoyts Cinema, Muji, and Uniqlo. It will also serve as a new hub for first stores. Notable openings include the Japanese apparel brand Global Work's first location on the Chinese mainland, the nationwide debut of restaurant Bocca by Ribone, and Minhang's first Dome Climber's Camp location.
To mark its opening, Hongqiao Qianwan Incity Mega is partnering with Disney China to launch Shanghai's first mall exhibition themed on Zootopia 2. The immersive showcase will recreate scenes including the city center, the rainforest, the wet market, and Tundratown, offering visitors a series of photo spots and themed experiences throughout the mall.
A special pop-up store inspired by Bunnyburrow, the first of its kind in Shanghai, will offer themed merchandise and gifts. As a highlight, life-size figures of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde in formal outfits will be displayed in Tundratown, where visitors can join the duo for year-end celebrations at the mall's sunken plaza.
