In the month of June this year, it's estimated that Wujiaochang attracted over 300,000 visitors daily, ranking it among the top commercial areas in Shanghai.

This impressive performance was bolstered by the presence of prestigious academic magnets like Fudan and Tongji universities, as well as innovative companies such as ByteDance and Bilibili.

Local resources — including Daxue Road and Jiangwan Sports Center (Jiangwan Stadium) — are said to further enrich the area and contribute to its lively environment.

Wujiaochang is also known for its special consumer experiences. It hosts various events and collaborations, such as street music festivals and themed pop-up shops, catering to the interests of its youthful demographic.

What's more, trendy retail outlets, cafes and restaurants and dining outlets reflect the diverse tastes of visitors.

All in all, with its combination of educational institutions, innovative businesses and variety of shopping and entertainment options, Wujiaochang continues to thrive as a key player in Shanghai's commercial landscape.
