SUFE welcomes new international students for 2026 spring semester
The International Cultural Exchange School of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics welcomed more than 100 international students from 45 countries on Feb 27, including Belgium, Russia, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the United States.
To ensure a smooth and efficient orientation process, the school made thorough preparations in advance. Various departments streamlined registration procedures and arranged service guarantees to ensure a convenient, well-organized, and thoughtful enrollment experience.
International student volunteers devoted themselves to orientation services. They offered enthusiastic guidance and answered questions, assisting new students in completing their registration procedures.
On the eve of registration, international student volunteers prepared welcome gifts for the newcomers, including souvenirs such as SUFE notebooks, T-shirts printed with the university's name, and canvas bags. The school also provided a WiFi user guide, a hand-drawn campus map, a list of key spring semester events, and a schedule of start-of-term arrangements for each new student, helping them quickly settle into campus life.
As the students embark on their academic journey in Shanghai, SUFE encourages them to further explore China and gain a unique insight into Shanghai's urban charm and China's cultural diversity.
