European flavor season along West Bund waterfront
As part of the city's annual Global Taste in Shanghai campaign, the European Flavor season runs from January to March, highlighting regional cuisines from across the continent. In Xuhui district, several restaurants at Gate M West Bund Dream Center and nearby venues are serving European dishes, many with river views or terrace seating along the West Bund waterfront. Here are some selected venues.
Lenbach West Bund
Lenbach West Bund has a terrace facing the Huangpu River and a dining area that combines industrial elements with modern design.
The menu centers on European comfort food served throughout the day, from lunch and dinner to evening drinks. The black truffle pizza is baked to order, while the roast butter chicken is served with crispy golden skin. Craft beer is available on tap, rounding out the offering.

Tapa Tapa
Tapa Tapa has outdoor seating set alongside the preserved industrial structures within Gate M West Bund Dream Center, and specializes in Spanish cuisine.
The seafood paella is prepared in the traditional style, with rice cooked with fresh seafood to absorb its flavor. Garlic shrimp in olive oil is prepared in the traditional tapas style. Sangria is available as a pairing option.

Mozzarella e Vino
Mozzarella e Vino centers on cheese and wine, featuring a dedicated cheese counter and an on-site wine cellar. The interior is defined by warm lighting, wooden tables, and European-style decor, creating an intimate and understated atmosphere.
Signature dishes build on this foundation. The Swiss valley cheese fondue is served with assorted accompaniments for dipping. A cheese platter brings together carefully selected varieties paired with dried fruit and cured ham, designed for sharing.

Paulaner Wirtshaus
Paulaner Wirtshaus recreates a Bavarian-style beer hall setting. Live band performances are scheduled on selected evenings.
The menu follows traditional German cooking. The Bavarian mixed platter includes sausages, roast pork knuckle, and smoked pork neck, served with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and fried onions. A house sausage platter features varieties such as Nuremberg-style and cheese sausages, accompanied by German mustard and pickles. Freshly brewed beer is available to accompany the meal.

Emerald Lounge
Emerald Lounge is located on the 57th floor of the MGM Shanghai West Bund, approximately 900 meters from Gate M West Bund Dream Center, a walk of roughly 13 minutes. It offers elevated views of Xuhui and the Huangpu River.
Afternoon tea is served daily from 2 pm to 5 pm, with sweet and savory items prepared by the in-house pastry team. In the evening, the lounge offers a European-style menu and cocktails.
