Established in 1958, Shanghai Jiading District Library has operated as a two-branch system since 2013, with locations on South Yumin Road and Qinghe Road.

The library has a total floor area of 22,700 square meters, providing 1,500 reading seats and a collection of 1.78 million books. It offers a wide range of services, including literature lending, exhibitions, training, digital reading, audio-visual services, and academic research.
