Xuhui-based enterprises prepare for 8th CIIE
The countdown is on for the 8th China International Import Expo, set to take place from Nov 5 to 10 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). This year's expo promises to be a showcase of global innovation and collaboration.
Shanghai's Xuhui district is stepping up with more than 30 companies participating, two-thirds of which are regional headquarters of multinational corporations. Notable participants include US pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co, Inc and Canadian athletic apparel brand Lululemon.
Exhibitors from the district will represent a broad range of sectors such as medical equipment, consumer goods, intelligent industry, food and agricultural products, automobile and smart mobility, and trade in services.
The expo will feature both newcomers and regular exhibitors. Sonova, a Swiss company known for its innovative hearing care solutions, will make its debut with groundbreaking products such as the Phonak Infinio Ultra hearing aid, equipped with an AI supercomputing chip for enhanced voice clarity.
Returning for a second year, Lululemon will showcase its latest lines in yoga, running, training, tennis, and golf, alongside lifestyle products. The brand plans to engage visitors with interactive activities that highlight its unique culture and values.
Danish construction toy producer Lego Group will participate in the CIIE for the eighth consecutive year, once again captivating audiences in the consumer goods section with its "Play On" theme. The 300-square-meter booth will transform into a "City of Play", featuring its Shanghai Skyline Collection model. Visitors are invited to explore and share stories celebrating the city's charm and dynamism.
