Shanghai to host 2026 UCI Track World Championships

Shanghai will host the 2026 Tissot UCI Track World Championships at the Shanghai Velodrome from October 14 to 18. The century-old event will be held on the Chinese mainland for the first time and is expected to bring together around 400 world-class cyclists from about 45 countries and regions. Competing across 22 events, athletes will vie for world titles, with the results directly affecting qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
