The US footwear and apparel brand New Balance opened its first-ever NB Grey R global flagship store on Middle Huaihai Road in Shanghai's Huangpu district on Jan 10.

Spanning two floors totaling 400 square meters, the store features an interior crafted from natural materials like stone and wood, evoking the serene beauty of a winter forest. Shanghai-inspired elements, such as magnolia flowers, were incorporated during the opening event, representing quiet growth and resilience in the stillness of winter.

The flagship store offers a wide range of premium footwear and apparel collections. Highlights include the MADE in USA and UK series, the Grey Jacket apparel collection blending tradition and modernity, the retro-futuristic 1906 sneakers, the WRPD Runner, the versatile MET 24 series, and the innovative Tokyo Design Studio collection.
