In a move to further facilitate international travel and exchanges, China has announced an expansion of its visa-free policy to include citizens of New Zealand, Australia, and Poland.

From July 1, 2024, to Dec 31, 2025, ordinary passport holders of these three countries will be granted visa-free entry for stays up to 15 days for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit.

This exemption applies to ordinary passport holders only. Individuals not meeting the visa exemption criteria will still be required to obtain a Chinese visa prior to entry.
