The second International Supply Chain Logistics Exposition, also known as ISL Expo 2024, will take place on Aug 21-23 in East China's Shanghai – at the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Center of International Sourcing.
It aims to be the trade show with the largest gathering of logistics executives from cargo-owning companies.
With an expected attendance exceeding 20,000 professionals – including over 2,500 buyers from cargo-owning companies – the expo promises choice networking opportunities.
The event will feature 10 cargo owner-focused forums in collaboration with leading industry associations. They will cover export logistics for industries such as solar power, home appliances, construction machinery, the automotive and parts sectors, cross-border e-commerce, furniture, tires and steel products.
Additionally, two import logistics forums will cater to the timber and cold supply chain sectors.
The event is organized by China Shipping Gazette, the China Communications and Transportation Association (CCTA) Shipping Logistics Branch, the CCTA Express Service and the Shanghai Shipping 50 Development and Research Center.
The organizers say that further enriching the program are several high-profile events – including the third Development Forum of Sea-Rail Combined Transportation, the seventh Global Trade and Container Transportation Conference and the first annual meeting of the International Aviation Logistics Forum.
Altogether, these events span a range of key transport modes such as ports, shipping, rail, air and express services – seeking to facilitate in-depth discussions and foster collaboration.
To further connect stakeholders, the expo will host a special matchmaking event on Aug 21, gathering 60 senior logistics executives from leading cargo-owning enterprises and 60 representatives from exhibiting companies in the ports, shipping, rail, air and express industries.
The organizers say that major players in the logistics and supply chain sector – including leading shipping lines, port operators and logistics service providers – have already confirmed their participation.
