China to grant 'Lancang-Mekong visas' to five SE Asian nations

China has decided to issue "Lancang-Mekong visas" to five countries along the Mekong River, announced Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the eighth Greater Mekong Subregion Summit held on Nov 7.
China will grant five-year multiple-entry visas to qualified business people from the five countries — Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, Li said.
Lancang and Mekong refer to the same river that runs across China and the five Southeast Asian nations.
