World's largest-diameter smart underground garage to begin operations

After more than two years of construction, the world's largest-diameter underground smart garage will begin operations in Shanghai's Jing'an district in May, according to the Jing'an District Information Office.
The Shanghai Mingyuan Smart Garage, located at No 1055 Guangyan Road, will cover 286 square meters above ground and 836 square meters underground, offering 304 parking spaces, including 76 spaces for new energy vehicles. All the spaces can be shared.
A vehicle may be parked temporarily, throughout the year, or for even longer. The garage is open to cars, SUVs, and commercial vehicles (up to 5.3 m in length, 1.9 m in height, and 2.8 tons in weight). Automatic guiding vehicles enable automatic parking and dispatching.

The garage has eight entrances, and every vehicle will be able to arrive or leave in around 90 seconds. Payment can be made using WeChat, AliPay, or cash.
