Green liquid fuel program invites global researchers
The Alliance of Belt and Road Low Carbon Technology Innovation and Cooperation, Huadian Heavy Industries Co Ltd, and the European Biomass Industry Association have jointly launched a research program inviting global scientists to tackle technological bottlenecks in the production of green liquid fuels.
The "Green Future" research program, funded by Huadian Heavy Industries Co Ltd, focuses on four key areas: green hydrogen-based energy, low-carbon chemical processes, industrial CO2 utilization, and smart energy systems.
Individual projects under the program may receive funding of up to $500,000, and laboratories from anywhere in the world are eligible to apply.
The alliance was established by 26 institutions from 14 countries to advance low-carbon development in countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and to foster a sustainable and innovative future.
How to apply
The program is open to sci-tech innovation entities from both domestic and international markets, including universities and colleges, research institutions, and companies. Applications should ideally involve joint participation by an international team, with members of the Alliance given priority consideration.
Scan the QR code to learn more details about the program and fill in the application form, then submit it to alctic_info@sstec.org.cn.
