The highly anticipated animated movie Zootopia 2 has officially premiered in cinemas nationwide. At Shanghai Global Harbor in Putuo district, many stores have rolled out movie-themed merchandise.

At the mall's AMG Real D Cinema, the movie accounts for nearly 90 percent of all showtimes during its opening week, with presale ticket sales exceeding 1,000 units as of Nov 26.

Beyond the bustling cinema, the mall's B2 level has turned into a Zootopia wonderland. More than 10 stores have launched Zootopia-themed zones, including Pop Mart, where the new Molly collaboration blind boxes are a hit with children, and Uniqlo, where the latest collaborative clothing line is selling out fast.

As a landmark commercial complex in Putuo known for its high concentration of anime merchandise and blind box retailers, Shanghai Global Harbor has hosted more than 50 anime-themed events, attracting a growing number of families and young consumers.

Moving forward, Shanghai Global Harbor plans to launch more specialty activities to further solidify its status as Shanghai's premier destination for anime culture enthusiasts.
