Italian jewelry brand Buccellati will bring its exhibition, The Prince of Goldsmiths: Buccellati Rediscovering the Classics, to the Shanghai Exhibition Center from Dec 5 to Jan 5.

The exhibition traces nearly a century of craftsmanship and artistic evolution at the storied maison. In 1936, Italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio honored founder Mario Buccellati with the title The Prince of Goldsmiths, praising his ability to transform precious metals into timeless works of art. The Shanghai edition reflects how the brand's aesthetics have continued to evolve through dialogues between art and nature, and tradition and modernity.

"We are delighted to present the second chapter of the Buccellati exhibition in Shanghai," said Nicolas Luchsinger, chief executive officer of Buccellati. "China is a key market for the brand, and its deep appreciation for exceptional craftsmanship continues to inspire us. We hope this exhibition will mark the beginning of a new chapter for Buccellati here."

Following its debut in Venice last year, the exhibition brings its original curatorial concept to Shanghai, reimagined for a vibrant urban setting. The showcase highlights the Buccellati family narrative, the brand's artistic heritage, and its century-long legacy, while expanding the selection of signature creations on display.

Both the Venice and Shanghai editions are conceived and produced by Balich Wonder Studio and curated by Alba Cappellieri, who selected the jewels and silver masterpieces featured in the exhibition. The design integrates classical elements such as colonnades, symmetry, and harmonious proportions with multimedia storytelling to trace the inspirations behind Buccellati's intricate creations.

Reservations are now available through the Buccellati WeChat mini program.
