Since opening at the MixC Shanghai shopping center on Nov 28, the Shanghai stop of the HOCH Hamburger Festival national tour has continued to build momentum.

The festival brings together more than 35 leading craft burger brands from 24 cities across the country. Seven of them appeared in the 2024 Burger Guide Top 10 Burgers list, giving the event a true all-star showcase of China's handmade burger scene.

Limited-edition creations prepared especially for the Shanghai stop have become a major highlight. Beijing-based Wake & Bite is serving a tomahawk Iberico pork burger, while Suzhou's Combo has introduced a thick-cut New York-style corned beef burger.

As the finale of the 2025 HOCH Burger Festival national tour, the Shanghai edition has exceeded organizers' expectations. In the first three days alone, it drew 500,000 visitors and sold more than 130,000 burgers.

The festival runs through Dec 9, and visitors are encouraged to plan their trips carefully to avoid peak times.
