Tian'an 1000 Trees kicks off new year celebrations
The Tian'an 1000 Trees commercial complex in Shanghai's Putuo district is celebrating its fourth anniversary with new year celebrations running through early January, offering visitors a blend of entertainment, shopping, and family-friendly cultural experiences.
Whimsical carousels, cozy wooden cottages, and an array of winter installations have filled the mall, complemented by daily artificial snowfall and magical bubble shows that help turn the area into an enchanting winter wonderland.
Throughout the festival, daily interactive performances include random energetic K-Pop dance performances, nostalgic live band parties, heartwarming choir performances, and festive mascot parades.
Two signature exhibitions have been launched simultaneously and will run through late February. A first-floor VR pop-up delivers an immersive virtual tour of Paris's Eiffel Tower, while the L Level hosts an exhibition of Eastern aesthetics that brings classical Chinese poetry to life through digital art.
The complex has recorded more than 20 percent year-on-year growth in visitor traffic. The venue's viral success on social media platforms, combined with China's expanded visa-free policies, has drawn a large number of international tourists. In addition, the mall's repositioning as a "family-friendly urban oasis" earlier this year has attracted many families.
Moving forward, Tian'an 1000 Trees will continue to offer premium cultural and retail experiences, welcoming families and visitors from around the world.
