In Yichuan, warmth and convenience are more than service principles — they're an integral part of daily life. Marina, a Russian student, experienced authentic Chinese-style wellness at the 1690 Community Health Service Station, immersing herself in holistic care rooted in tradition.

The station, located within the Half-Marathon Suzhou Creek·1690 Party-Mass Service Center, forms a multi-purpose life service circle with the community canteen, Suzhou Creek Exhibition Hall, and other facilities.

Residents have access to meals, health consultations, cultural displays, and medical care, all within walking distance, illustrating the "People's City" philosophy.

Inside, wooden grilles and warm lighting create a serene atmosphere, complemented by a subtle herbal fragrance. Marina underwent the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnostic method of observation, listening, questioning, and pulse-taking.

The physician taught her how to look after her health according to the Dahan (Major Cold) solar term, combining holistic insight with seasonal wellness advice.

Traditional therapies such as Sanjiu herbal patches and TCM massage coexist with smart devices. Residents can practice Ba Duan Jin exercises in front of interactive screens or monitor health data via self-service stations. Displayed Chinese medicinal herbs symbolize centuries of wellness knowledge, blending professional care with approachable community life.

From thoughtful facilities to culturally rich services, Yichuan Road Sub-district fosters a safe, friendly, and inclusive environment. The community meets basic needs while embracing diverse cultures, providing a variety of high-quality choices and ensuring residents, regardless of origin, feel at home in both body and spirit.
