The 6th Petjoy Fashion Week will take place from March 27 to 29 at the Shanghai Fashion Center in Yangpu district.

The event aligns with the city's strategy to become an international consumption hub and a pet-friendly city. It aims to elevate the pet ownership from meeting basic needs to offering emotional and lifestyle experiences, while connecting the local market with the global pet industry.

A highlight this year is the "pets and owners on the runway" activity, complemented by immersive shopping experiences. Attendees can explore offerings for every stage of a pet's life, including grooming, dining, fashion, insurance, medical care, beauty, and funeral services.

Petjoy Fashion Week has attracted brands from 18 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, and South Korea. Many expatriate pet owners are expected to participate in runway shows, exhibitions, and exchange activities. Organizers note that pets act as a universal social connector, helping expatriates integrate into the local pet culture while also giving domestic brands opportunities to expand overseas.

For the first time, the event extends beyond the three-day runway. A themed carnival will involve Marriott, Hilton, and more than 100 pet-friendly stores across the city, offering fashion tours, check-in activities, and other citywide events to engage participants and showcase the city's pet-friendly environment.
