British animator and director Jeroen Jaspaert received the Magnolia Award for Best Animation Script at this year's Shanghai Television Festival for The Scarecrows' Wedding. During his visit to Shanghai, Jaspaert was impressed by the city's unique blend of modern innovation and traditional way of life. "It was always on my to-do list to come to Shanghai," said the animator.
