First in Shanghai | Luxury openings and 'Zootopia 2' celebration
Shanghai is raising the bar again with global firsts, luxury launches, and Disney magic.
La Maison de Famille Longchamp

Step inside Longchamp's new townhouse in the Hengshan Road-Fuxing Road Historical and Cultural Block. More than a store, it's a French home experience. Explore cozy living spaces, a game room, a library, a walk-in closet, and a charming garden.
Each room reflects the Longchamp family's personality: the living room, inspired by CEO Jean Cassegrain, acts as a "cabinet of curiosities", celebrating the brand's spirit of exploration. Interiors mix French comfort with style: Parisian herringbone floors, a Pierre Paulin blue sofa, Gien tableware, artworks by Genevieve Claisse, and a cafe menu of French sandwiches and madeleines. Comics like Asterix and The Smurfs, and traditional games bring everyday French culture to life.

Open: Daily from 10 am to 7 pm
Boucheron's China Debut

Shanghai now hosts Boucheron's first store in China, marking the brand's third flagship globally. Set in a historic Shikumen building in Xintiandi, the store fuses Parisian heritage with Chinese cultural elements.
Guests are greeted by lush, greenery-inspired designs, from the entrance pavilion to interiors evoking traditional Chinese gardens. A circular gateway frames the transition between courtyards, inviting shoppers to wander through carefully curated "forest" landscapes, where reishi mushrooms, symbols of vitality and longevity, blend artistry with tradition.
The flagship showcases iconic collections like Serpent Boheme and Quatre, which are integrated into this natural environment. Artist collaborations enhance the immersive experience: Olga Thune-Larsen's straw inlay work blends green and red hues, symbolizing both Boucheron's signature color and Asian cultural motifs. Inkgo Lam Ka Yu's bamboo installation continues the garden theme upstairs, creating a dramatic visual setting for heritage pieces and collectors' treasures, including early 20th-century enamel and gold creations inspired by Chinese art and symbolism.
The ground-floor wedding salon draws inspiration from Shanghai's Yuyuan Garden, while upstairs VIP salons preserve the building's authentic Shikumen charm with exposed beams and brickwork.

Zootopia 2 Global Celebration

Shanghai is hosting something no other city in the world has: a global celebration for Disney's Zootopia 2, set inside the planet's first and only Zootopia-themed land.
Ahead of the film's national release on Nov 26, Shanghai Disney Resort and Walt Disney China have brought the world of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde to life with:
- All-new themed decor and story-driven details across the land
- Limited-time performances and interactive moments
- Multi-sensory experiences designed to blur the line between the film and the park
Visitors can also collect 14 limited-edition Zootopia ID cards, special park tickets featuring new and classic characters, which turn the very act of entering the park into the start of an adventure.
And as night falls, the experience takes on an extra dose of magic. Before the "Ignite the Dream" nighttime spectacular, the Enchanted Storybook Castle becomes the canvas for a Zootopia-themed projection show, set to the upbeat rhythms of Try Everything and Zootopia.
