Jin Lei, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, urged the association to intensify its collaborative efforts with both international and domestic tourism organizations.
This effort is intended to diversify urban tourism offerings, improve inbound tourism products, and reinforce Shanghai's status as the leading entry point for tourists into China.
Furthermore, the meeting featured promotions by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government's Foreign Affairs Office and the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries for the International Services Shanghai website (english.shanghai.gov.cn).
