Shanghai Airport Group has launched a new official website www.avinex.com accompanied by an official WeChat mini-program "Shanghai Airport", to provide travelers with smarter and more convenient mobile travel services. The original website domain www.shairport.com will continue to be operational, it said.

In its section settings, the new website homepage showcases the most popular sections such as "flight inquiries", "service facilities", and "dining and shopping".

The WeChat mini-program is designed around the practical needs of passengers in various air travel scenarios including departure, arrival, and transit. It offers real-time flight information push notifications, QR-code passes for security checks and boarding, and personalized best travel route customization, among others.

The mini-program also provides information on all service and commercial points at the Hongqiao International Airport and Pudong International Airport, including on-site inquiries, medical services, dining and shopping, currency exchange, WiFi rental, and SIM card sales.

Furthermore, features such as in-terminal navigation at Pudong International Airport and lost item inquiries have been added.

Elderly passengers aged 60 and above traveling alone, passengers with accessibility service needs, pregnant passengers, and passengers with mobility difficulties, among others with special service requirements, can also book care services at both Shanghai airports through the mini-program.
