The Jing'an District Sports Federation in Shanghai has inked an agreement with the International Vision Sports Management (IVSM) of the United Arab Emirates to co-host the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro Tour (AJP).

The signing ceremony, which took place on Sept 14, heralds a new chapter in the realm of martial arts as Shanghai prepares to host the AJP Tour Yangtze River Delta Regional Championship.

Established in 2009, the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro Tour is as a revered global platform for both professional and amateur Jiu-Jitsu athletes. With a reputation for excellence and inclusivity, the AJP Tour has garnered widespread acclaim for its commitment to promoting Jiu-Jitsu as a discipline that transcends borders and unites practitioners from diverse backgrounds.

The forthcoming AJP Tour Yangtze River Delta Regional Championship is scheduled to unfold on Sept 21-22 at the Jing'an Gymnasium in Shanghai. Beyond the competition itself, the collaborative agreement also encompasses the development of a comprehensive training and selection system for Jiu-Jitsu talent in Shanghai.
