Shanghai unveils eight cycling routes, blending culture, cuisine, leisure
Shanghai, a bustling metropolis renowned for its rich history and vibrant culture, has unveiled a city-ride festival aimed at showcasing the city's enchanting features to cycling enthusiasts. The festival introduces eight themed cycling routes that wind through iconic landmarks and scenic spots, offering riders a unique perspective of Shanghai's diverse landscape.
Among the highlights of these cycling routes is the inclusion of scenic locations such as the Half-marathon Suzhou Creek Park and downtown areas steeped in historical significance. Cyclists embarking on these routes will have the opportunity to explore Shanghai's beauty while immersing themselves in its rich history.
To enhance the cycling experience, Shanghai Tangjiu Group has partnered with Shanghai Phoenix Group and Springtour to offer a blend of culinary delights and leisure activities along the routes. This collaboration aims to merge sports, commerce, and social engagement, catering to young consumers and breathing new life into traditional brands.
For instance, one of the routes commences at Bright Dairy's Bright 919 North Xizang Road branch, meandering through bustling streets like Wukang Road and Sinan Road. Riders not only get to soak in Shanghai's historical charm but also have the chance to visit stores such as Joy Maison Nanchang Road branch and Alldays X919 Anfu Road branch, adding a touch of local flavor to their journey.
To further enrich the experience, Shanghai Tangjiu Group has introduced a tourism package that encompasses cycling adventures, tastings of Bright Dairy products, and cultural excursions. Participants can collect gifts at designated stops along the route and receive a supply package upon completing the ride, according to the group.
