Nov 28 – Shanghai Party Secretary Chen Jining met with Senior Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong.
Chen emphasized the fruitful outcomes of the Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council in the past five years since its establishment. He expressed Shanghai's willingness to deepen exchanges and shared learning with Singapore in various fields such as shipping, trade, finance, and urban governance.
For his part, Lee highlighted the new achievements in cooperation between Shanghai and Singapore. He welcomed efforts to strengthen communications and coordination, leverage platforms and mechanisms, and deliver win-win development.
Nov 27 – Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng met Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel.
Gong invited more Luxembourgish companies to participate in the China International Import Expo. He called for investment cooperation opportunities in sectors such as new energy vehicles, steel, satellite communications, and green industries.
Bettel outlined the shared strengths of Luxembourg and Shanghai in fostering open business environments, advancing industrial development, and building financial centers. He called for greater all-round collaboration and exchanges.
