The West Tower of Shanghai's ScienGate Towers, which are set to become the city's tallest twin towers, has passed final inspection. This milestone brings the twin towers one step closer to their grand opening, said a representative of the Pudong New Area Information Office.
Located in the heart of Zhangjiang Science City, the twin towers are within walking distance of Xuelin Road Station on Metro Line 13 and are conveniently connected to key surrounding areas via sky bridges and underground passageways.
The west tower project covers a gross floor area of 270,000 square meters, with 194,000 square meters above ground and 76,000 square meters below. It primarily consists of ScienGate West Tower, a super high-rise structure with 59 above-ground floors, which rises over 320 meters and is designed for super Grade-A offices, along with two supporting commercial podiums.
The West Tower will later be joined by its eastern counterpart, which is still under construction.
