A VR experience of the most legendary shipwreck in the world Titanic: Echoes from the Past, is available at the Bund Financial Center (BFC) in Shanghai from April 25 to Oct 9.

Jointly developed by leading VR content creators Eclipso and Small Creative in collaboration with the Vive Arts under HTC Vive, Titanic: Echoes from the Past is a virtual underwater adventure designed to relive and rediscover the Titanic, the luxury ocean liner that sank in 1912 during its maiden voyage from Southampton England to New York, the United States.

The project is backed by extensive documentation by the authors, drawing on the resources of the Cite de la Mer in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin and the American archives of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

It is the result of two years of in-depth research, meticulously recreating the ship, its passengers and the events. Sources were rigorously cross-referenced to ensure the authenticity of the experience.

The China experience of Titanic: Echoes from the Past has been produced by the Multiverse Project, a leading producer of large-scale immersive experience contents in China.
